Not every lamination product is meant for a VFFS flow machine. What goes inside the laminated Pouch determines the style of pouch necessary for optimal “stand up” functionality.

Below are the different style options:

Half circle shaped seals at the bottom of the bag.
This foundation enables the packaged product to help support the stand-up pouch.
Works best with grains and refined products.
Works best with products that weigh 2 LBs or less.

Doyen-Style Pouch

3-Side Seal Pouch

Sealed fully on three sides (no bottom gusset)
Bag cannot stand on its own
Can be top or bottom loaded
Works best with products that do not need to sit on shelves
